Such a wonderful website, Lisa! Easy to navigate, great design hierarchy and most of all readable fonts. Those are some of the factors that can make an effective website. If you don't mind me asking, how did you come up with such design and color combination? Lynda Frank
Thank you, Lydia. I based it off my logo. Design is really a process of trial and error. You just keep trying things until they work!
HiNice Tips! As an expert in web design I can surly say that these are really helpful for newbies. You have covered all the points which should keep in mind to create a good website.
I really like these suggestions and the part that you didn't go to university for style is really motivating for me. I have stress all around me to finish a level when I really just want to perform towards having my own Graphic Design company. I discover out out out out out out out out too often on other weblogs that the blog site writer went to higher education and I instantly can't arrange with them as well. I've tried the whole higher education part and it's not for me. Thank you for sharing!

I just visited your other blog, and I'm really digging the design, especially the background. I like the fade effect you applied on the forefront so that the background kind of looks like it's being revealed slowly. Just a thought, though - you might want to change the color of the text or use a slightly less transparent text box so the words would be easier to read.Edward Kotwicki
Hi Ed..thanks. yes--I know. It bothers me as well. Unfortunately, though I tinkered with it, I'm using a template and I can't figure out how to do that. I need a person who is better at coding to fix it for me.
Awesome website. Have you made some SEO effort for that? I think you should start now. Anyway, for effective and professional SEO advice visit http://firstpagehq.com/seo-company-miami/.
I believe there’s an option for each template that can enable you to adjust the either the color and size of the font, or the transparency of the fore/background. But if you’re using CSS, it can be a little tricky. So it’s really best to seek the help of someone who has had experience on that part.Masako Gun
It’s a great website, Lisa. The only thing I could comment on is that header and that small logo at the top that seems to be out of place. Otherwise, everything looks to be in order. Have a good one!Chris Clay | The Clay Media
